Of course, no bottle is complete without a cap. Moens has caps with different sizes and features. These caps ensure a safe seal of the bottle and prevent leaks or spills. Thanks to the different sizes, such as 28 mm, 38 mm, 42 mm or 50 mm in diameter, there is a cap for every bottle.
Glass pipettes are a useful accessory for the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. They allow users to dose liquids accurately, drop by drop, giving you more control over the amount of product. Think of dosing essential oils, medicines or cosmetic serums.
You can also enhance your bottles for the end user by including dosing spoons and dosing cups with the packaging. These are very practical for measuring and mixing products, such as medicines or powders.
Safety
Moens Packaging values safety. Our bottles are designed to ensure the protection of their contents and users.
An important aspect of safety is the fluorination applied to certain bottles. This treatment creates an additional barrier against the migration of liquids through the wall of the bottle. This minimises the risk of interaction between the contents and the bottle material, thus preserving the quality and safety of the contents.
Aluminium and glass bottles have specific advantages. Namely, both glass and aluminium are inert, meaning they do not release or absorb substances to the contents. This ensures that the quality and properties of the contents remain unchanged, without any adverse chemical reactions.
Moreover, both glass and aluminium are excellent barriers. They protect contents from external factors such as light, oxygen and moisture, extending the shelf life of products. Moreover, aluminium is also shock-resistant, providing additional protection during transport and storage.
Sealed caps are another safety feature of our bottles. These caps have a break ring, which means you can see whether the bottle has been opened or not. This reassures users that the product has not been tampered with before they receive it.
An important aspect of safety, especially with products that are potentially dangerous, is the use of child-resistant caps. Such caps have an additional safety mechanism to prevent children from accidentally opening the bottle. They usually require a “push-twist” technique to open. These caps help reduce the risk of accidents and poisoning.
Sustainable
Is sustainable packaging material an important factor for you? For Moens Packaging too. All our bottles are made of recyclable materials and for many we also have an alternative made of recycled material. Sustainability aspects vary depending on the material used, such as plastic, glass and aluminium.
Moens has three types of plastic bottles made partly of recycled materials, namely the PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) bottles made of recycled HDPE, the RPET (Recycled PET) bottles made of recycled PET and the PIR (Post-Industrial Recycled) bottles made of recycled material. After use, these plastic bottles can be recycled again to make new products. Reusing these materials reduces the demand for new plastic and helps reduce environmental impact.
Glass bottles from Moens Packaging are fully recyclable without loss of mechanical and chemical properties. Waste glass can therefore be converted into new glass bottles without any loss of quality. Moreover, our glass bottles are partly made of recycled material.
Aluminium bottles are also recyclable without loss of quality. Aluminium recycling requires only 5% of the original energy, which is a huge energy saving and greatly reduces CO2 emissions. Our aluminium bottles also partly consist of recycled material.
