The advantages of our jerrycans
Fluorinated jerrycans
The classic jerrycan is suitable for a lot of liquids, but there are also liquids that can migrate through the wall which can cause the jerrycan to bulge or the HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) to collapse. To ensure that you can also use these kinds of liquids in our jerrycans, we also offer fluorinated jerrycans. These are treated during the production process with fluorine gas, creating a barrier and thus preventing migration.
100% recyclable
PE jerrycans are a very sustainable form of packaging. This is because they are 100% recyclable, but can also be made from recycled material. Thus, there are two types:
It comes from collected waste that is then sorted, cleaned and ground into new plastic. When someone throws something in the PMD bag at home, it serves as the basis for PCR bottles and therefore jerry cans. It is a very eco-friendly packaging. However, this kind of packaging is not suitable for food. A UN seal of approval is not in sight.
This type of packaging is even more popular and this is all to do with its many advantages. In this form of recycling, the manufacturer collects the surpluses that accumulate during the production process. This is then recycled and transformed into PIR bottles. These bottles are not suitable for food either, but unlike PCR bottles, they are eligible for UN certification.
Easily stackable
Many of our jerrycans are stackable, saving you space in your warehouse and allowing you to transport more in one go. This also saves you higher transport costs.
Customisable
You can also personalise your canisters by choosing a specific cap that best suits your needs. You can choose between a sealable cap, a child-friendly cap, a vent cap, a cap with integrated tap or a pump. But you can also go either way with a sleeve.
UN certification
Our HDPE canisters are tested and approved according to a strict United Nations testing procedure. This means that you can also safely store and transport hazardous liquids in the packaging.
Good alternatives
Is a plastic jerrycan not what you are looking for after all? Then maybe our stand-up pouches or normal pouches are for you. Stand-up or regular pouches are an ideal alternative. The big advantage of this packaging is that these pouches take up even less space than jerrycans.
Bag-in-boxes are also a hit when it comes to cost savings and easy storage and transport options. This type of packaging is a combination of a pouch surrounded by cardboard packaging. The advantage is that you can fold the box. This way, the whole thing takes up very little space.
