Liners

There are 3 possible types of liners for metal drums: flat bags, welded round bottom bags and deep-drawn round bottom bags.

Description

  • Flat bags: these are standard bags without a round bottom. This means that the bag will adjust itself to the shape of the drum when it is filled. Thickness of the PE is usually 60 to 150 microns.
  • Welded round bottom bags: this is a tube with a round bottom welded to the underside. Thickness of the PE is usually 150 to 200 microns. Both conductive and aluminium bags are possible.
  • Deep-drawn round bottom bags: these are very thick liners of approximately 1 mm made completely in one piece and in the shape of the drum. These liners can be used if the product has to be mixed in the drum.
